Καλησπέρα σε όλους.
Ονομάζομαι Νίκος και είμαι διαχειριστής (Administrator) και μέλος του διοικητικού συμβουλίου του Corolla Club.
Eχθές δυστυχώς ένα μέλος μας είχε μια κακή εμπειρία την οποία μοιράστηκε μαζί μας και εγώ με τη σειρά μου εδώ με όλους εσάς.
Χτες το βράδυ καθώς γύριζα από Ελευσίνα χρησιμοποιώντας την Α.Ο. γύρω στο 1 km πριν τα διόδια (είμαι ήδη μέσα στην Α.Ο.) και ενώ προσπερνώ ένα αυτοκίνητο που βρίσκεται στη δεξιά λωρίδα ξαφνικά βλέπω κάτι σαν πέτρες και χώματα να έρχονται κατα πάνω μου!! Δυστυχώς δεν πρόλαβα να αντιδράσω καθόλου και ακούω απλά το μπαμ, νομίζοντας αρχικά πως κάτι πάτησε το Avensis που προσπέρναγα και το εκτόξευσε πάνω μου. Σταματάω στα Διόδια που σχεδόν έβλεπα μπροστά μου και λέω στην κοπέλα πως κάτι είναι κανα χιλιόμετρο πριν στο δρόμο να παν να το ελέγξουν και τρώω το πρώτο ΣΟΚ.
Είναι κάτι γύφτοι που πετάνε πέτρες! αμα θέλετε να καλέσουμε το 100. Σταματάω δεξιά κατεβαίνω κάτω και πάω να ελέγξω αν έχω ζημιά...
Η σίτα από τον προφυλακτήρα μου έχει μια τρύπα μεγέθους γροθιάς και διάφορα άλλα κοπανήματα ο προφυλακτήρας, ενώ το ψυγείο από μέσα φαίνεται χτυπημένο, αλλά ευτυχώς χωρίς να τρέχει τίποτα.
Αφού έρχεται κάποιος από τα κινητά συνεργεία της Α.Ο, του λέω ενημέρωσε να πάει κάποιος εκεί γιατί μπορεί να το ξανακάνουν με πιο άσχημα αποτελέσματα. Μου λέει φιλαράκι έχεις απόλυτο δίκιο, αλλά τι να κάνουμε μπλα μπλα μπλα και μετά απο 10 λεπτά περίπου έρχεται και ένα φορτηγό με σπασμένο παρμπρίζ (με τις ανάλογες χριστοπαναγίες από μέρους μου για το ξύσιμο των @@ τους...)
Έρχεται η αστυνομία μετά από κανα 20λεπτο καταγράφει το συμβαν, μας λέει πως δε μπορεί να κάνει τίποτα, άμα θέλουμε να υποβάλλουμε μήνυση κατά αγνώστου πρέπει να πάμε στο Α.Τ Ασπροπύργου, στο οποίο δεν ήξεραν καν πως ακριβώς να με στείλουν για να πάω...
Αυτό που κατάλαβα είναι πως αυτό είναι καθημερινό φαινόμενο και πως τόσο η Αστυνομία, όσο και η Α.Ο. φοβούνται να πλησιάσουν την περιοχή στην οποία είναι κράτος εν κρατει οι φίλοι μας οι γύφτοι.
Το γράφω κυρίως για να ενημερώσω τους χρήστες της Α.Ο. οτι ειδικά στο σuγκεκριμένο σημείο χρειάζεται τύχη και προσοχή για να περάσεις αλώβητος τις νυχτερινές ώρες (όπως αποδείχτηκε από τη στάση τόσο της αστυνομίας αλλά και της Α.Ο.). Καλή τύχη σε όλους λοιπόν γιατί νομίζω πως δεν είναι μακριά η ώρα που δεν θα τη γλιτώσει κάποιος μόνο με σπασμένα παρμπρίζ και προφυλακτήρες. Για ακόμα μια φορά αποδεικνύεται πως σε αυτήν εδώ τη χώρα που ζούμε πρέπει πρώτα να γίνει ένα σοβαρό ατύχημα ή δυστύχημα μπας και ξυπνήσουν κάποιοι ώστε να αλλάξει μια τόσο επικίνδυνη κατάσταση (και άν )
ΥΓ. Μπορώ να κάνω κάτι στην Α.Ο. που ενώ γνωρίζει δεν ενημερώνει τους ανυποψίαστους χρήστες της;

In a nautical comeback of Titanic-raising proportions, the amphibious cars from series eight are ready to set sail once more. They’ve been treated to a host of technical improvements to make them a bit more seaworthy, and now they’re ready for a voyage into the unknown.
Also, Audi is very new to the supercar game, so the odds are stacked pretty high against it hitting a bulls-eye the first time out. Jeremy sets out to see if the new R8 can really challenge the Porsche 911 for bragging rights at the squash club.

Mercedes AMG-Brembo and McLaren SLR Breaks
I was trying to find further information regarding SLR's breaks.
I know that they are especially made for McLaren-Merceds SLR and are very hard to find....
But... They are made by Brembo!
Front brake system is Ceramic compound for both disks and friction bodies -pads- and an 8-pot brembo made calliper -probably withoun any changes from the stock 8-pot model.
Same goes for rear breaks.
Ceramic compound for disk and pads and 4-pot brembo made calipers.
Few years a go, I owned a Mercedes E200Kompressor, the W211 model.
After one year of driving, I decided to start upgrading and tuning.
First step were the brakes.
I went to a new-Benz-parts dealer and asked for the bigest brakes they had.
They told me that the biggest they had, were from an SL55AMG
8-pot front calipers, 4-pot rear calipers... And that the next best thing was Ceramcs from SLR.
So I got them on my car.
Now....
If you take a good look at the first picture, you will see that the calliper is exactly the same with the one found on the SLR's front breaking system...
So... All I have to do is to find the ceramic disks and pads....
And a way to put all of that... on my S350L W221....
Any way...
Searching for the above, I came across a great site with car wallpapers in good resolution.

As we take the tyre-warmers off a new series of Top Gear, the wait’s almost over. We’ve got ten whole episodes of excellent-ness ready to unleash on your Sunday night viewing schedule, and you simply won’t believe what Messrs Clarkson, Hammond and May have been up to over the past couple of months.
So, for one night of the week at least, you can banish cookery and home-improvement programmes from your screen and enjoy some good old-fashioned petrol-based fun.
In episode one, we decided to find the finest driving road in Europe. Coincidentally, Lamborghini, Porsche and Aston Martin have recently seen fit to release a brace of new lightweight road-racers in the form of the Gallardo Superleggera, 911 GT3 RS and V8 Vantage N24. To quote Hammond, I think you can see where this is going.
Also in the first programme, Jeremy takes to the test track in an improbably powerful VW Golf, and we put a monarch (sort of) in our reasonably priced car when Dame Helen Mirren comes to visit.
Later in the series, we’ll treat you to a selection of massive challenges and stunts. You’ll see the glorious return of the amphibious cars, in a voyage that makes the crossing of a reservoir look a tiny bit feeble. We put the biofuel we grew last series to seriously good use. And we spend an entire programme in Africa as our intrepid presenters attempt one of our wildly over-ambitious, but cheap, races.
Also: it was massively delayed, gave some of the finest engineering minds in Europe nervous breakdowns, and is too expensive for all but the richest Arab potentates - and that’s just the car. Find out what happened when the Bugatti Veyron met the Eurofighter.
It might surprise you to know we’ve even thrown in some road tests and reviews of the most exciting and interesting cars to hit the road - including the latest Ferrari, Porsche-baiting new Audi R8 supercar and hotly tipped Caparo T1.
